The basics...

In the most basic form, cover is either loss of and/or to damage to property, or legal liability for a loss suffering by a third party. Cover can usually be arranged according to your requirements. Typically, policies will fit one of the following categories:

  • Annual Contract Works – registered building contractor with one or more projects underway during a 12 month period (or longer).
  • Single Contract (Single Project) Cover – a registered building contractor with only one project at a time requiring cover, or.
  • Owner Builders Insurance – tailored for the requirements of an owner builder, who is managing a project themselves, or is contracting work out to various contractors or sub-contractors
